Cream in your coffee, and a creepy copy of Crone

I submitted the cover to Crone to The e-Book cover design awards at https://www.thebookdesigner.com/2017/06/e-book-cover-design-awards-may-2017/ . Sadly, we didn’t win, but it was a huge thrill to see it there, alongside some other wonderful designs.

The Crone cover was designed by Jennie Rawlings at Serifim.com and I think she did an outstanding job. The more I look at my copy of Crone, the prouder I am. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, no writer is an island, and you need help to make your novel the best it can be. Publishing as an Indie is a little overwhelming, but I felt that Jennie, and Amie McCracken (my editor) had my back. That’s a good feeling!

I’ve had some great feedback about the novel, including some 5* reviews on both Amazon and Goodreads, and a lovely in-depth and insightful review from The Grim Reader which I was particularly thrilled about. Hooray! 4 out of 5 broomsticks! I’ll take that.

I also need to thank Jim McLeod of Ginger Nuts of Horror, for doing a little exposure of Crone, which is really kind considering how busy he is, and how many horror stories and writers there are around! Cheers Jim!

Mostly I want to thank you, dear reader and scare lover. If you’ve read it, please think about leaving a review on Amazon and Goodreads. Reviews help writers sell their work, so I would be hugely grateful.

More news coming about a few future releases … so watch this space! xxx
